Arnold's road to success began at the age of sixteen when he sang with the Baltimore Gospel Choir. His rich, gospel-inflected baritone and unique phrasing made him one of the choir's most favored soloists. Singer, songwriter and performer he has a voice gifted by the gods. He has toured over the United States and Europe and has performed along with the likes of Queen Latifah, Adeva, Ultra Nate, Ce Ce Peniston, Loletta Holloway, Jocelyn Brown, Fonda Rae, Jody Watley, Lisa Fischer, The Bingo Boys and rap artist Princesa.
Arnold has sung for an impressive list of house music's top producers Kerri Chandler, Tommy Musto, Yvonne Turner, Satoshi Tomiie, Robert Owens, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Eric Kupper, "Little Louie" Vega, Benji Candelario, Jazz and Groove, Alix Alvarez, Vincent Kwok and Miguel Migs. Recording along the way classic house anthems such as "Take Some Time Out", "Inspiration", Swing 52's "Color of My Skin", "The Joy You Bring", "Learn To Give", "Life Goes On", "Special Kind of Love", "What Goes Around" the album, entitled Arnold Jarvis - "The Collection", for record labels Atlantic Records (FFRR, Polygram UK), King Street Records, MAW, Fourth Floor, Freetown Records and Cutting Records. |
