HISTORY
Byron Stingily has one of the most distinctive and beautiful voices in the dance music industry. He was part of the early Chicago House Scene and started out as the lead vocalist for Ten City.

He then went on to take the UK charts by storm as a solo artist on Manifesto Records, with chart hits such as ‘Get Up’, ‘Sing a Song’, You Make Me Feel Mighty Real’ and ‘That’s the Way Love is’.

When Byron met Marshall Jefferson, he recorded two early Chicago classics, ‘Can’t Stay Away’ and ‘Just a Little Bit’. They went to New York to try their luck with the major record labels and impressed Atlantic Records enough to be offered a contract before they had even formed a group. By 1988, the pair had recruited guitarist Herb Lawson and DJ turned Keyboardist Byron Byrke to form Ragtyme.

The trio released ‘Devotion’ and ‘Right Back to You’ later changing their name to Ten City and recording their first album called ‘Foundation’. Ten City were one of the House Music revolution founders with a huge following right across the globe. The shining diamond in Ten City was Byron Stingily who stepped out into the solo light of fame with spotlights flooding the stage. Byron has star talent and a star personality to boot (y).
