- BIOGRAPHY
Six years
ago Stephen started and
founded the Solemusic label, which has now blossomed
into two imprints: Solemusic and Tronicsole. The
labels
musical foundation is black dance music. Stevie now
takes a general role of A&R, business and financial
control at the label.
Stevie Sole has produced under the
names Oscuro P, Phuture Retro with Julian Bendall
and Cutting Headz and Tu-Souls alongside Phil Asher.
More recently Stevie has been collaborating with Ross
Campbell under the Guiro guise. This has been their
most successful project with remixes for Slip and
Slide, Z records and Sublime in Japan.
The pair have also released their
debut album 'Bridges' on Solemusic. Stevie Sole has
also teamed up with Milton Jackson recently for the
club cut entitled Baracus 'Bijongas' now signed to
What Goes Around. This is the brainchild of Yousef,
Paul Woolford and Erick Morillo.
